Orders Placed :  We cannot guarantee delivery time.  Please consider weather conditions before placing an order.

DELIVERY UPDATE !!!!!: ORDERS PLACED BETWEEN WEDNESDAY 31 MARCH 2010, 12AM AND 5 APRIL 2010 WILL ONLY BE DELIVERED AFTER 6 APRIL 2010.

PAYMENT
Payment for the total amount of goods ordered is taken by debit or credit card payment and is processed in total safety.  By submitting your credit/debit card details, you warrant that you are authorized to make payment with the specific card and that sufficient funds are available for the order placed.

If you wish to place your order over the phone please contact us 0208 591 8221 with your order and card details or simply tick the PAY ON THE PHONE option when checking out and we will contact you for payment.

ORDERING
To place your order go to Online Shopping, browse categories and click on items.  Remember to specify the exact quantity.  Continue to shopping cart and check out. If you have any queries please contact us. You must be over 18 if you order Alcohol. We also have the right to provide limit quantities of certain regulated products. These terms and conditions are only relevant to contracts conducted with consumers. 

DELIVERY
Orders are delivered via our couriers to the specified address given upon ordering.  Although every effort will be made to deliver goods as ordered between 9am & 5pm within 24 / 48 hours after ordering, Hunters Biltong can not accept responsibility for delays due to circumstances beyond our control. If you are not available to sign or accept your parcel on the delivery date, your parcel will be taken to the couriers nearest depot where you should arrange for collection or re-delivery at your own cost. If you are not sure please have your orders delivered to your work address. Any special request should be noted with your order.

*Delivery of goods over £60.00 is free of charge excluding large quantities of Maize meal and Potjie Pots.

*Additional costs may be added for delivery outside of the UK mainland, these areas include Scotland and Ireland.

Delivery Costs

Free delivery for orders over £60.00 and £6.95 for orders under £60.00 up tp 15kgs in weight.

Delivery Charges (UK mainland only)

• Orders up to 15kg and under £60 = £6.95
• Orders 15kg up to 25kg and under £60 = £8.75
• Orders 25kg up to 30kg and under £60 = £10.99
• Delivery is Free if you order is more than £60 (including vat) and the weight is no more than 15kg. (UK Mainland only) 
• Delivery charges for Scottish Highlands = Orders over £60.00 and under 15kgs = £21.00 / Under £60.00 up to 15kg =£28.00
• Delivery charges for parts of Ireland = £31.50 up to 15kg

Deliveries will be conducted from Monday to Friday 8:00 till 17:30
We do not deliver at weekends and public holidays

Further Information

All fresh meats are sent frozen. Please refrigerate straight away after delivery and consume within 3 days.

ORDERS AND DELIVERY

Orders will be dispatched within 24 / 48 hours after ordering.(excluding orders made on weekends and public holidays)

Orders that contain meat / Boerewors should be placed before 9am Thursday, ORDERS RECIEVED AFTER THURSDAY 9AM WILL BE DELIVERED THE FOLLOWING TUESDAY. if you have any special delivery requests please donot hesitate to contact us.

All orders are checked twice by two members of staff to insure that you order is correct.

PRICES
Orders are subject to acceptance by the company and to availability of goods and will be invoiced at prices ruling at the time of acceptance.

CLAIMS
Claims can be made through the Hunters Biltong by calling us on 0208 591 8221 or by emailing sales@huntersbiltong .co.uk. Any claims made before prior communication with the Hunters Biltong customer service department will not be considered. Orders sent via couriers will not be considered if you sign for them being received in good condition.

a) All goods must be counted if possible upon receipt/
b) All goods need to be checked within 24 hours after receipt.
c) Any claim in respect of the above should be made by telephone to Hunters Biltong service department within 48hr of the delivery.
d) Credit may not be given for goods returned without prior agreement from Hunters Biltong.

RETURNS
If you are for any reason dissatisfied with any item purchased through our Online shop you may return them FOR A FULL REFUND.
Please return items without delay. If after 14 days of delivery, Hunters Biltong Online Shop reserves the right to reject any returns.

The Consumer Protection(Distance Selling) Regulations 2000

These regulations give you the consumer an unconditional right to cancel an order. This allows you the opportunity to examine the goods. If you wish to cancel an order, you must advise us with written notice:

• goods - within seven working days from the day after that on which the goods were received by you the consumer;

 Where an contract is cancelled by you the consumer, you must ensure that reasonable care is taken of any goods received and 'restore' them. You must also ensure that the goods are returned to us at your cost.

We will refund your money as soon as possible and, at the latest, within 30 days of receiving the written notice of cancellation.

Refunds are not applicable under the regulation for orders of food and drink, un-sealed audio or video recording and magazines.

SITE – CONDUCT
You may not post or transmit any material to this Online Shopping Site other than validated comments.
 In case of any unprofound material postings, we will fully co-operate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing us to disclose the identity or locate any postings.

TAX CHARGE

Orders will incur 17.5 % VAT where indicated.
